This is the PowerPoint to a webinar hosted the Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL) in June 2025.  Entitled “Guardianship is Not the Only Option: Supporting Decisions in Adulthood,” these webinars are tailored to families and professionals who support people with behavioral and mental health disabilities, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who are dually diagnosed.

In this video, Omar and Keila talk about how they use Supported Decision-Making and what advice they have for families and people with disabilities about Supported Decision-Making and alternatives to guardianship.
