On July 12, 2026, Morgan Whitlatch represented CPR in an international learning exchange hosted by Mobilization for Justice. The convening brought together advocates from the United States and Australia who are working to advance the rights of people with disabilities and older adults.

During the session, Morgan highlighted CPR’s efforts to promote Supported Decision-Making, sharing key successes and strategies used across the United States.  U.S. participants also included representatives from New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and Disability Rights New York.

The exchange fostered meaningful dialogue with Australian human rights organizations, including Mob 4 Mob, which advocates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disabilities in Queensland; Queensland Advocacy for Inclusion, a statewide disability rights organization; and Caxton Legal Centre, a nonprofit legal service provider with expertise in areas including elder law.

Participants identified shared priorities and ideas for systems change, with the goal of continuing cross-national engagement to strengthen and advance the rights of people with disabilities and older adults.
